GUIDED READING

The following lesson plans are a work in progress.  I will continue to add to them as time permits.  Each lesson lasts approximately 20 minutes.  It takes awhile to get the timing and pacing down, but it is doable!  :o)  I've tried to include pictures of the book covers, when possible, but some publishing companies don't make them available online, so that is why some are not visible.  Click on the "level" (number) to download all of the lesson plans for that particular level.  I cut these sheets in half, trim them, and laminate.  I file the plans by level in an index card box (size 5x7).  I've also included links to the major publishing companies that sell guided reading books (scroll down for links).  Our school has a large bookroom that we pull these books from for our lessons.
